A study that describes the development of a comprehensive premarital assessment instrument, the PREParation for Marriage (PREP-M) Questionnaire, and assesses the ability of the questionnaire to predict marital satisfaction and stability one year after marriage is presented. The results suggest that the higher the premarital PREP-M scores, the higher the marital satisfaction and marital stability. (Author abstract).
